Day 1
“Do not offer any part of yourself to sin… but rather offer yourselves to God…” — Romans 6:13
Every day, we are offering ourselves to something. Through our thoughts, habits, and decisions, we either yield our bodies to what harms us or to the God who gives life.
This verse is not just a moral instruction—it is a warning and an invitation. What we consistently give ourselves to will eventually shape our condition, both spiritually and physically.
While not every sickness is directly caused by sin, a lifestyle rooted in sin can open doors to brokenness in the body and mind. Choices such as sexual immorality or substance abuse can have obvious physical consequences. But there are also quieter, less visible patterns—like unforgiveness, anger, bitterness, and hatred—that can slowly erode our peace, weigh down our hearts, and even affect our health over time.
God calls us to something better. When we come to Him for healing, we must come with willing hearts—ready to turn away from anything that opposes His ways. Repentance is not about condemnation; it is about realignment.
So, today, ask the Lord to reveal any area—whether obvious or subtle—where you have been offering yourself to sin and when He shows you, don’t resist or justify it. Gently turn away, and offer that part of your life back to Him.
