Scripture: When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”— Matthew 9:2
Lord Jesus,
Today, I reflect on the time you healed the paralysed man lying on a mat. I noticed that before you healed him, you forgave his sins. This deeply resonates with me because I also struggle with both sin and disease.
So, as I stand before you today, I ask you to cleanse my soul before you heal my body. Please wash me, purify me, and make me clean from all sin and unrighteousness.
Let your forgiveness bring freedom to my soul, lifting every burden of guilt, shame, and condemnation. As I accept your forgiveness, I also open my heart to your healing. Let restoration flow from the inside out—spirit, soul, and body. Where sin has held me back, let your grace lift me up. Where there’s been brokenness, let there be wholeness.
I choose to walk in repentance and in the new life you offer. Thank you, Lord, for forgiving, loving, and restoring me.
In your name, I pray, Amen.
