Day 3
“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us…” — Galatians 3:13
In many families, certain illnesses appear to be generational. As believers, we shouldn’t passively accept these patterns. Instead, we should confront them in the light of Jesus Christ’s work on the cross.
Scripture tells us that Christ forgave sin and addressed the curse. Every consequence of sin, including sickness, was borne by Him. The cross broke the legal hold of every curse, whether personal or generational.
Proverbs 18:21 states, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” This reminds us that our words are significant. Speak intentionally over your life, your body, and your family. Declare that through Jesus, you are no longer bound—that every chain is broken and every negative pattern ends with you.
Today, pray with confidence. Specifically name and forbid patterns of sickness and disability that seem to repeat in your family. Thank Him not only for spiritual redemption but for wholeness in every area of your life. You’re not the continuation of a curse; you’re the evidence of redemption.
