Day 5

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”Matthew 7:7

Jesus’ words urge us towards persistence, not passivity. “Keep asking… keep seeking… keep knocking…” embodies a faith that endures, even when answers are slow to arrive.

However, waiting can be challenging. When healing takes longer than anticipated or recovery feels sluggish, it’s natural to feel exhausted.

It’s crucial to understand this: delays in healing do not mean God has forgotten you. Sometimes, what seems like a delay is actually a process. God may be working beneath the surface—building endurance, strengthening your faith, reshaping your perspective, and preparing a testimony that will carry weight and purpose.

During these waiting seasons, there is a real temptation to grow impatient and seek answers outside of God. When relief doesn’t come quickly, some turn to ungodly spiritual practices or alternative paths that promise quicker results. This is a dangerous exchange: trading God’s perfect will for temporary solutions that may lead you further away from Him.

So, don’t stop asking. Don’t stop seeking. Don’t stop knocking.
